Welcome to the Michigan School Almanac Updates Log

This public updates log documents data releases from the Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) and the Michigan Department of Education (MDE), accounting notes under Bulletin 1022, and new reference features.

What to Expect in Updates

1. Annual Audit Releases: Release notices as new CEPI FID audited financial reports and REP staff counts are published by the state each fall.
2. Statutory & Accounting Notes: Notes on state funding mechanisms, such as Foundation Allowance adjustments, MPSERS pension stabilization, and statutory blend formulas under MCL 388.1606.
3. Reference Enhancements: Improvements to peer comparison tools, reserve tracking, and data exports.
